Subtitles in movies

When it comes to all of the movies that I watch, I always love making use of subtitles. It doesn't matter to me if it's an English language movie or another language, the subtitle is a constant for me in them. Subtitles makes me focus on the movie completely because I would be reading everything the moment I'm watching as well.

I took a sign language class. The instructor was deaf and for an assignment we had to be deaf for a day.
I turned on subtitles for the first time watching a show and have never looked back. I always have the subtitles on. I agree with your statement. You get a lot more out of the show or movie and it always make you focus.

I am the same way. Even for my Native English speaking shows, I use subtitles. I realized how much I had missed in the dialogue when I didn't use them. I can follow the storyline better when I see the words, not just hear them. Especially for other English speaking shows from the UK that have accents.

I taught myself Sign Language many years ago & it was fun to learn.
